I’m Adrian, the Pepsi Max–fuelled brain behind this blog. Think of me as your friendly neighbourhood storyteller.

Projects I’ve Built
This is my Tiger Avon, powered by a 1600 Toyota 4AGE engine with twin Jenvey throttle bodies. I built it myself — a proper labour of love. Lightweight, simple, and slightly over-engineered… which probably sums me up quite well.
Engineering to Software
I started my career in Oil & Gas as a Chartered Engineer. About 8 years ago, I made a left turn into software, joining CodeClan in Edinburgh. It turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve made — now focused on fixing real-world digital problems.
Notes to Self
A lot of this started as notes to myself — things I didn’t want to forget, or problems I didn’t want to solve twice.
What This Blog Is About
Most of what I write is about:
• Systems that don’t quite work
• Real-world software problems
• Productivity and organisation
• Making technology simpler
If you’ve ever thought “this shouldn’t be this complicated” — you’re in the right place.
Udny Solutions
I run Udny Solutions, where I help people fix simple, real-world tech problems.
• Broken websites
• Forms that don’t work properly
• Account and login issues
• General “why is this doing that?” problems
Simple fixes, without the jargon.
Oh, how we laughed!
It's a phrase I use often and truly enjoy.
